Hideaway Cottage (E4)

Looking for a quiet getaway? Need to host some out of towners but don’t have room? Or maybe you are remodeling and need a place to stay short-term? We have a great little place that also takes advantage of the beautiful countryside and amenities of Kauffman Family Farm.

The Hideaway Cottage (nicknamed “E4” for the east four acres) is now available for overnight guests. Secluded and out of view from the main road, it’s peaceful and full of wildlife. Sit on the covered deck while you drink your morning coffee and watch the deer walk through or come next door to the farm and enjoy the pond for the day.

The Hideaway is only six miles from Lake Odessa and beautiful Jordan Lake, lakeside dining, antique malls and downtown shops. Or drive six miles north to enjoy Sessions Lake and the state park with it’s miles of trails and water activities.

Join us in the spring and get a hands on look at our maple syrup operation while we gather, boil and bottle syrup.

The cottage is currently booked for Summer 2025 through October. Please note we do close for the winter on October 1. Please contact us directly for a short stay (week or weekend), or for long-term stays, please book through the Furnished Finders app.

Due to several current construction projects on the farm, we are not accepting campers this year via the Harvest Host website.
